About

This project marked the next phase of collaboration between Saltmedia and Enserva, focusing on bringing clarity, consistency, and an Indigenous perspective to Enserva’s guidebook. The aim was to create a user-friendly workbook that would support Enserva’s mission and commitment to fostering healthy and respectful relations with First Nations communities.

Challenge

Key challenges included ensuring the visual branding and content reflected both plain language principles and Indigenous perspectives, managing project scope changes, and coordinating multiple rounds of revisions for the workbook design. The need to balance creative vision with practical deliverables and stakeholder feedback required careful project management.

Insight

The project highlighted the importance of collaboration and feedback, with regular communication between Saltmedia and Enserva to refine content and design. Incorporating an Indigenous worldview into design and content was a central insight, ensuring the materials were both culturally respectful and visually engaging.

Results

The outcome was a professionally branded workbook, complete with a visual brand guide, a finalized logo package, and a well-designed workbook ready for both print and digital use. The project was delivered on schedule and within budget, with flexibility for future updates and enhancements
