Grande Prairie Food Drive

Grande Prairie Food Drive Website

Services Provided

Websites

Saltmedia donated this website to support our friends and neighbours right here in Grande Prairie. The food drive is a large event, and both the Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie and The Salvation Army wanted a website where they could send people interested in supporting the food drive. The website includes embedded video and a DONATE NOW! Link.

Hosting

Charitable websites are always vulnerable to hacking. We provide secure hosting for the Rotary Community Food Drive website at our data centre in Edmonton, AB. Having a Canadian host—and one with a local backup like ours—is another layer of security.

About

The Rotary clubs of Grande Prairie and The Salvation Army team up every year to do a food drive. We always need this kind of community involvement and support for those who need it—but even more so now as the cost of living escalates.

Challenge

The organizations did not have a budget for a website, and they were running a huge event with people searching for them online. It was important to have a website where they could direct traffic, provide updates, and easily collect donations.

Insight

Since the organizers would be updating this website themselves, we needed a design that was user-friendly.

Results

Now, there’s a permanent online home for the Rotary Community Food Drive. It’s easy to find, easy to donate to, and easy for organizers to update.
